Sága Releases New On-Demand Studio
April 1, 2021 — Sága has announced the release of the Sâga Studio, an on-demand library of movement and meditation classes with its CEO and Chief Wellness Officer Ivor Edmonds, MHA.
Sága, founded by Brianna and Ivor Edmonds, serves traumatized, oppressed, and marginalized populations with a unique perspective that views wellness through the lens of trauma healing, racial justice, and respect for a harmonious dialogue of the energies in nature.
The Sága Studio subscription empowers a strong home practice, offering yoga (including Edmonds’ signature “Healflow Yoga” class and the standalone “Spinal Sequence,” trauma-informed yoga, and chair yoga), mat pilates, reiki meditation, qigong, and “Yoga-lates,” a blend of vinyasa yoga and mat pliates.
Edmonds has two decades of mastery-level experience with certifications in Gendai Reiki Ho, Usui Reiki, Vinyasa Yoga (E-RYT 200 and YACEP), qigong, kemetic meditation and pilates. He also holds a Master of Applied Healing Arts from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (formerly, the Tai Sophia Institute).
“Trauma is a universal human experience,” Edmonds says. “Our library of classes helps to address that trauma in the body and build resilience and healthy coping mechanisms for your mind and spirit.”
